Yesterday was the last day of The Loud Noise & Rowdy Boys Tour.  It is always a sad thing to leave a tour that has been so much fun.  Thank you to everyone who came out to the shows and supported us, you’re all so awesome.  We enjoyed meeting every single one of you and seeing some brand new cities.  We should be uploading some pictures from the tour and maybe even a short video (where you can see our midnight dance party in our van).  I can’t wait to get back out on the road and hang out with all of you again.  Make sure you keep checking our Facebook (facebook.com/alifelikestory) to see what we’re going to be up to next.  See you all soon!!!

Wellllll we finally landed with our crew in sunny (and crazy hot) Charlottesville, VA for the night. We’ve had a bit of a setback, Georgia got canceled unfortunately (big apology to anybody coming to see us, it was completely out of our hands), so we’re spending the night poolside in Charlottesville. Our first show is tomorrow night in Surfside Beach, SC, and if you’re in the area you should definitely spend your evening with us ;). So far we have a lot of great vibes as far as our crew and support for this, everyone is getting along better than we could have ever hoped for. Hopefully we’ll see you on the road!

Guys and Gals…

First off, the response we have been getting on everything (NHIE, State//Lines Video, ITRL, The Loud Noise…Tour, etc.) has been unreal.  YOU ARE ALL SO AWESOME AND WE CAN’T THANK YOU ENOUGH!

These next few weeks are going to be amazing.  I, along with the rest of the band, am very excited to see all of your faces on this tour.  We leave for Georgia next Thursday (7/21) to begin the Loud Noise & Rowdy Boys Tour.  We have been working very hard the past few weeks to make sure we give you the best show possible.  We’ve also thrown in some new things as well (a new song perhaps…GASP).  

On top of all that excitement our acoustic EP In the Right Light comes out in two weeks (7/26).  I hope you’re as excited about it as we are.  It will be completely digital again, although you will be able to buy these fancy fun download cards at our upcoming shows.  I think they look pretty sweet (we’ll even sign them for you if you want).  

After all of this we still have a lot in the works for later in the year.  AHHH…. We’re really excited to show you everything.

Summer of 2011 A Lifelike Story will be releasing their acoustic EP In the Right Light.  It will be available in all digital retailers worldwide including iTunes and Amazon.  The EP will consist of two new songs as well as a few from Never Have I Ever.  You can also pick up an A Lifelike Story digital download card exclusively during the Loud Noise and Rowdy Boys Tour which will allow you to download In the Right Light or the band’s debut EP Never Have I Ever.

Tour is getting closer and we’re starting to get pretty excited about being on the road again.  We haven’t been on stage as a full band for over a month now and I’m very excited to let all of the energy out.  We’re also going to states that we have never played in before which is going to be awesome.  We have a lot of different things planned for the tour and some new surprises that we think you’ll all enjoy.  Hopefully you’re all as excited as we are and we’ll see you in a few weeks.  

PS.  I don’t know why my titles have been one word phrases….hmmmm

How many of you read that right away and how many of you gave up trying to figure out what it said?  Just curious.

Anyway, I’m in our home studio doing some late night mixing and thought I would take a break to write a Tumblr thingy.  It’s usually pretty freaky in this building late at night because it creeks a lot and the air unit makes noises and what not so to balance it out I moved the TV in the space so I can see it and am watching Family Guy while I mix.  It’s pretty sweet but it gets distracting haha.  

I know we’ve been posting hints and broad topics about things that are coming up but I have to say I’m pretty excited for what’s to come.  OH… and IM SUPER EXCITED TO SEE YOU ALL THIS SUMMER on The Loud Noise & Rowdy Boys Tour.  How many of you are coming out?

To elaborate on the tour:

We’re really excited about the opportunity to do this with Sierra Skyline and Uh Oh! Stereo. We just met and I can already tell we’re going to remain connected long after this tour is over. For now we’ve been putting many long nights into our rehearsal studio, between writing/recording/rehearsing/planning EVERYTHING for you guys.

This is our first national tour as a band, and it would mean a lot to Bryan and I, and the other acts if you came out to one of the dates to show your support. We’re deeply committed to our fanbase, and seeing every single one of you on this tour would make everything 100000000x better.
